Special Meeting
The Board of Selectmen held a Special Meeting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, 31 July 2012 in the Meeting Hall of the Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall. First Selectwoman Bonnie Reemsnyder, Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal and Selectman Skip Sibley were present.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss litigation involving a pending civil action in the U.S. District Court, Anderson v. Town of Old Lyme, 3:10cv1876 (MRK), regarding the seasonal dwelling registry, Section 11.19A of the Zoning Regulations.
Selectman Sibley moved to go into executive session at 6:01 PM to discuss pending litigation involving Anderson vs. Town of Old Lyme. Selectwoman Nosal seconded the motion. SO VOTED.
The Board came out of Executive Session at 6:36 PM.
Selectwoman Nosal moved to consent to the settlement reached by the insurance carrier. Selectman Sibley seconded the motion. SO VOTED
Selectman Sibley moved to adjourn the special meeting at 6:38 PM. Selectwoman Nosal seconded the motion. SO VOTED.
